Jared Michael Mehl

Jared Michael Mehl, a clinical licensed master social worker (LMSW), made a career change after working in Private Equity for over 25 years to pursue his passion for working with individuals and families navigating the journey of life. Jared has focused on parent/child dynamics, overcoming adversity, and life transitions. Jared is formally trained in Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). He approaches clients from various modalities such as attachment theory, strength-based perspective, and visualization to address most mental health challenges.

Jared earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Delaware, where he played Division One lacrosse. He then worked in finance for 25 years in Connecticut, Los Angeles, and New York City. Jared went on to earn a Masters in Clinical Social Work from Sacred Heart University, where he interned at Homes For The Brave, a housing first facility for previously homeless Veterans, Ann’s Place, a cancer support agency, and Schoke Jewish Family Service, an agency that aims to sustain families and individuals through all of life’s challenges. Jared also volunteered for sixteen weeks with a team that supported trauma victims and aided in the humanitarian efforts in Israel for displaced people starting October 16th, 2023.

Jared is a founding member of the board of advisors of The Friendship Circle of Fairfield County, an organization that provides inclusive social programs for individuals with special needs, fostering friendships and support within the teen community. He is an outdoor enthusiast, a youth lacrosse coach, and enjoys playing tennis in his free time. Jared has lived in Fairfield County for over two decades with his wife, five children (four boys, and one girl), and a Labrador Retriever.

Gus Nunez, LCSW

Gus Nunez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who practices in New York and Connecticut. Gus sees patients for cognitive therapy, depression, marriage counseling, anxiety, dis-regulated behaviors, behavioral therapy, stress management, PTSD, adjustment disorders, and many other conditions and symptoms. Mr. Nunez earned his master’s degree in social work from the City University of New York, Hunter College, Silberman School of Social Work, and trained at the Mt. Sinai Icahn School of Medicine. Gus trained at three major NYC hospitals over the span of 18 years, most recently, as a medical social worker for United Health providing care to the senior citizen population.
